My Story

I started running in September '09 using the Couch to 5K running plan.  I ran my first 5K that October and I have been hooked ever since.

I'm not your average runner.  I don't run to lose weight.  That is actually the last thing I need.  I do run for other reasons.

I run because:
  • It makes me feel good about myself
  • my body just works better
  • its my "ME" time
  • I love setting short/long term goals for myself
  • makes me feel stronger
Last but NOT least I run in hopes to be an example to others to get running and live a healthier lifestyle.
